Robert van Zyl, PhD

Prof. Robert van Zyl is currently the Director of the CPUT Satellite Programme in Cape Town, South Africa. Within this Focus Area of CPUT, he directs the French South African Institute of Technology (F’SATI) at CPUT, and its innovation hub, the African Space Innovation Centre (ASIC).

Dr. van Zyl received his PhD in the field of Microelectronics and High Frequency Electronics from Stellenbosch University/Universiteit Stellenbosch.
